Warrenton High School’s Drama Department is set to host their Spring play the first weekend in February.
One Stoplight Town is a play that details the passage of time in a small town that you just might miss in the blink of an eye. Audience members will see characters fall in love, struggle to leave, or find their way back home. Change is inevitable, whether they are ready for it or not.
The play is directed by director Alexanda Simons, who began her second year of teaching in August. Simons hosted a staff preview of the show on Wednesday afternoon, where reviews were good and excitement high.
The show is set to take the stage on Thursday, February 1st and run through Saturday, February 3rd at 7:00 pm in the high school Commons. While there, audience members will be given the opportunity to participate in A Minute to Give It. All donations made will be donated to the American World Adoption Agency to help children orphaned as a result of wars abroad.
Ticket prices are $6.00 for students and $8.00 for adults.
